Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her position as the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she's responsible covering everything from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the growth and advent of tourism to space. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space. She has also worked as an White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the both the Biden and Trump administrations on space issues. The reporter also reported on the 2020 presidential campaign and efforts by two administrations in fighting the coronavirus. Additionally, she went on trips with President Trump and the Vice President extensively. The trip included a shady visit to Afghanistan. Prior to joining the network in the year 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through the local news channels which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. Kristin's expertise as a camerawoman led her to found Field Mouse Films which specialized in making documentaries for clients of corporate nature, like Uber Hotels & Resorts, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University. She lives with her husband and their two children in Washington, D.C., and has a three-year old daughter.
